Springhill, LA- Gene E. Teague, 81, of Springhill, Louisiana passed away November 1, 2018.
As a graduate of Emerson, Arkansas High School, he went on to receive both his Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate of Law from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passing his Louisiana Bar Exam on his first attempt. Most of his career was in the oil and gas industry as a title attorney, after working earlier for Gulf Oil.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Sarena Teague; brother, Jerry Teague; son, Richard Teague, and ex-wife, Donna Teague.
He is survived by a sister, Frances Chism; brother, Don Teague (Vicki) and granddaughter, Dallas Teague (Mathew).
Graveside services under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Springhill, will be Wed, November 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at Springhill Cemetery.
