Geraldine “Gerry” Mangrum, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Friday July 26, 2019. Geraldine was born January 12, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Geraldine is survived by daughter Margie and husband Mike Williamson of Milton, GA, daughter Pam Mangrum of Marietta, GA, son Kenneth and wife Tonya Mangrum of Wheeler, TX, son Curtis and wife Robin Mangrum of Marietta, GA; grandchildren Jenny (Brian) Clements, Beth Mardis Rucker, Kellie (Jeremy) Meadows, Justin (Brittany) Mangrum, Rhonda (Adam) Scott, Jacob Mangrum, and Rayanna Mangrum. Also surviving are her great grandchildren – Maddy Clements, Cole Clements, Katelyn Mardis, Hunter Mardis, Ellison Rucker, Noah Wood, Braxton Scott, Khloe Scott, Cassidy Scott.
Geraldine was a member of St. Paul UMC and a loving homemaker who provided a loving home for family and friends. She loved gardening and was affectionately known as the “Queen of Piddling”.
A visitation for Geraldine will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Paul UMC, 244 Kurtz Road, Marietta, GA 30066, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Geraldine’s memory may be made to St. Paul UMC Memorial Fund, 244 Kurtz Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
