Germantown Water System under boil advisory

A boil advisory for the Germantown Water System has been issued.

The advisory excludes the Timberline and Dorcheat Road area.

Water officials say the advisory is due to a break in the distribution line on Dogwood Trial.

The advisory is expected to be lifted once water samples return from the state testing lab.
