The Minden Junior Service League’s annual Girls Night Out fundraiser returns Saturday, August 23, bringing a tropical twist to the Minden Civic Center with this year’s theme: Havana Nights.
The event will transform the Civic Center into a Cuban-inspired celebration, complete with bold décor, live music, themed photo opportunities, and Cuban-style food provided by local eatery Geaux Fresh. Dishes include pineapple salsa with cinnamon chips, Cuban sliders, empanadas, and a hearty rice bowl featuring meat and peppers.
Girls Night Out is a key fundraising event for the Minden Junior Service League, with proceeds supporting the group’s scholarship program and community outreach efforts throughout the year.
Tickets are available at several levels:
- General Admission ($50): Includes dinner, entry from 6–9 PM, and access to shopping, entertainment, and themed activities.
- Early Entry Ticket ($75): Includes all general admission perks plus early access from 4–6 PM and one drink ticket.
- Individual VIP Seat ($120): Includes early entry, a swag bag, VIP shopping hour, and reserved table seating.
- VIP Table ($1,200): For 10 guests, includes early entry tickets, reserved seating, chilled champagne, swag bags, and a sweet treat for each attendee.
VIP tables sold out quickly after going on sale June 2. A limited number of individual VIP seats remain available.
Photography for the evening will be provided by Jessica Mangrum Photography, with multiple themed backdrops set up throughout the venue for guests to capture their Havana-inspired outfits.
Incentives are available for early ticket purchases. Every ticket purchased by August 8 will be entered into a drawing for vendor gift cards, with 15 winners selected. One attendee will win a $100 shopping spree to be used at the event.
