Glenbrook drops first game of season to St. Joseph

by Minden Press-Herald

Three-time defending state champions St. Joseph haven’t lost a game in a few years.

They continued their streak with a 40-7 win over Glenbrook on Friday. Quarterback Mekhi Norris went 17-of-25 for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the air, and was unstoppable on the ground as well. Norris finished with 179 yards rushing as the Apaches were unable to contain the star QB.

The loss marks the first loss of the season for the Apaches, and the first under new head coach David Feaster.

The Apaches drop to 2-1.

Glenbrook plays next Nike Dallas FC on Friday.
