Glenbrook students attend flamenco ballet

Members of Glenbrook School’s Spanish Club recently attended the annual Hispanic Flamenco Ballet Latin American Show at LSUS Theatre. Students were able to experience exhilarating performances with dazzling and colorful displays of costumes, music and dances from the Hispanic nations of the Caribbean, Central and South America. Traditional dances such as the Cumbia from Columbia, Samba from Brazil, Agentinean Tango and Malambo, as well as Bachata and Merengue from the Dominican Republic. The students enjoyed listening to live musicians play folkloric music between dances and were invited onstage at the finale to participate alongside the performers
