Dixie Inn Mayor Ava Nell McWhorter purchases the first snowcone of the season from Mel Jordan, owner of Got Snow? snowcone stand in Dixie Inn. Jordan, who co-owns the stand with her husband Nick, said the stand will be open daily from 10 a.m. until dark. It is located next door to Rascoe’s Grocery. The Jordans plan to have an all-day grand opening on July 2.
