North Webster High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Graham as interim head basketball coach at North Webster High School. Coach Graham was hired this summer to teach American History and coach football and assistant basketball and promoted to interim head coach when Coach Ron Meikle unexpectedly left NWHS for another position in Texas.
Coach Graham is a graduate of Arkansas State University. Most recently, he was the Head boys’ basketball coach at Elm Grove Junior High where he led them to a district title. Coach Graham states “This is a tremendous opportunity for me. The North Webster community has gone above and beyond to welcome me. I hope the students are excited to go to work as I am”
Principal Jeff Franklin states: “We are very excited to have found Coach Graham already embedded in our staff. He brings basketball knowledge and experience to our program at NWHS. We are already very impressed with his relationships with our students. He is doing a great job in the classroom and on the football field right now and we expect a very smooth transition to basketball.”
