Jerry Harris, a nationally-renowned artist known for his work with country music legends, joined the Minden Lions Club Thursday as guest speaker. Harris dove into tales of the Louisiana Hayride, the popular concert that took place inside Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium from 1948-1960. Among the acts to play the Hayride and to have been immortalized by Harris were Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton and Hank Williams.
