High school athletics: Minden adds two coaches

Minden High has added two new coaches.

Kenny Stewart joins Head Coach Spencer Heard’s football staff. He will be coaching the defensive secondary and assisting with special teams. He will also be the girls track and field coach.

Stewart was at Lakeside last year.

Kelsey Chanler will serve as an assistant to new softball Head Coach Maggie Watts. She will be teaching civics. Athletic Director Dean Francis said.

Chanler was at North Caddo last year.
