The Minden Crimson Tide improved to 4-0 Saturday with a 10-0 victory over D’Arbonne Woods at Griffith Stadium.
The victory completed a three-game sweep of the Timberwolves.
Elsewhere, Lakeside defeated Bunkie 7-6 in the Many tournament. The Warriors fell to DeRidder 8-6 Friday in the tournament.
At Minden, Jaxson Smith picked up his second victory of the season. He allowed three hits, struck out two and walked two in the five-inning game.
Bray Winston went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Jacob Jefferson went 2-for-3. Hudson Brown had a double and three RBI. Barron Bower had a double.
At the Many tournament, Lakeside rallied from a 5-0 deficit after two innings. The Warriors (2-2) scored three in the third, one in the fourth and three in the fifth then held off the Panthers in the seventh.
Peyton Campbell pitched a complete game with six strikeouts. Lakeside had five hits. Drake Chreene had two RBI. Brock Case had a hit and drew two walks.
The Warriors had 10 hits against DeRidder. Bryson Finley went 3-for-3. Kaleb Rolen went 2-for-3. Gage Williams went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Jake Glass had a double. Mason Shipp had two RBI.
