High school baseball: Six Webster Parish players named to Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association’s All-State teams

Six players from Webster Parish schools have been named to the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association’s All-State teams.

They are North Webster’s Collin McKenzie (Class 3A), Lakeside’s Jon Jon Dick (Class 2A), and Glenbrook’s Hayden Harmon, Cason Clemons, Maddox Mandino and Easton Sanders (Class 1A).

McKenzie, a 2023 graduate, made the team as an infielder.

He batted .549 with 50 hits, including 13 doubles and one triple, and 28 RBI.

McKenzie was also a pitcher. He went 4-3 with a 3.355 ERA and had 62 strikeouts in 56 1/3 innings.

Dick, a rising junior, made the team at designated hitter. He batted .434 with 15 doubles, one triple, one home run and 32 RBI. 

Harmon, a 2023 graduate, made the team at pitcher. He was 8-1 with an ERA of 2.724. He struck out 83 in 61 2/3 innings.

Clemons, a 2023 graduate, made team at infielder. He batted .322 with seven doubles, one triple and 12 RBI.

Mandino, a 2023 graduate, made the team at outfielder. He batted .466 with 12 doubles, six triples, four home runs and 26 RBI.

Sanders, a rising junior, made the team at utility. A pitcher and infielder, he was 6-1 with a 2.763 ERA. He struck out 54 in 38 innings.

Sanders batted .354 with seven doubles, four home runs and 31 RBI.
