Both Minden teams advanced to the semifinals of their respective divisions on the first day of the Giant Car of Minden Minden Holiday Classic Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide defeated North Webster 77-23. The Lady Tiders downed Ringgold 57-50.
In other boys games, Ringgold defeated Green Oaks 49-33, Mansfield defeated Lakeside 48-24, Calvary Baptist defeated Lincoln Prep 75-29, Gibsland-Coleman defeated Loyola 54-42 and Parkway defeated Camden, Ark., 74-50.
In other girls games, Homer defeated Richwood 36-33, Simsboro defeated Lakeside 37-13, Arcadia defeated Loyola 52-20, Gibsland-Coleman defeated North Caddo 53-21 and Mansfield defeated Green Oaks.
Brooklyn Jefferson led the Lady Tiders with 18 points. She also had eight rebounds.
Kierra Harrison had 10 points and seven rebounds. Travesti Byrd had 10 points and five assists.
Minden (5-4) plays the Homer-Simsboro winner Friday at 6:40 p.m.
The Crimson Tide (7-2) take on the Ringgold-Mansfield winner Friday at 8.
Avante Curry led North Webster with eight points and three rebounds. Dejuan Coleman had six points and one block.
Bubba Strong and TJ Jamison led four Calvary Baptist (8-3) players in double figures with 15 and 14 points.
Sharmal Booker hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead Mansfield (3-9).
Jordyn Wilson led Ringgold (10-3) with 16 points. Jbari Adams had 16 rebounds.
