James William McDuff ,67, of Heflin, La. , passed away on November 14, 2023 in Shreveport, La. after a brief illness. He was born on May 24,1956 in Vivian, La. Mr. McDuff was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle and he will be deeply missed .
He was preceded in death by his parents , JT McDuff and Louise McDuff , brothers, Eugene McDuff and JT McDuff Jr. , Sisters, Mary Ann Marr and Delores Kennedy and brother in law , Frankie Marr .
He is survived by his sister, Suzie McDuff of Heflin, La. , Son, Jordan McKenzie (Christina) of Virginia Beach, Va., daughters, Brooke Smith (Jamie) of Junction City, Ar. , Megan Campbell of Shreveport, La. and Haley Welling (Michael) of Princeton, La. His 11 grandchildren: Brenden (Alex), Makayla (Timmy), Darvin, Jayden, Cole, Aiden, Wyatt, Rylee, Chase, Remi and Ryver and his 4 great grandchildren : Adeline, Kayleigh , Kane and Karson . Mr. McDuff is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In his spare time he enjoyed working his land and taking care of his cattle.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date on his land to honor and celebrate the life of James William McDuff.
