High school basketball: Minden, Lakeside to face off in Don Stahl Memorial Tournament boys consolation finals

The Minden Crimson Tide and Lakeside Warriors will face off for the boys consolation title in the Don Stahl Memorial Tournament at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Lakeside.

Minden defeated Camden, Ark., 72-67 in the semifinals Friday night. 

Lakeside received a bye into the finals.

Cameron Parker led four Minden (2-1) players in double figures with 21 points.

Darnell Morris had 17, Kameron Harris 13 and JeKoye Knowles 12.

In the girls championship semifinals, Minden fell to Arcadia 51-45 and Lakeside dropped a 30-26 decision to Simsboro.

Arcadia (4-0) and Simsboro (5-2) will face off for the title at 3 p.m.

Ringgold and Magnolia School of Excellence play for the boys championship at 4:30.

Magnolia defeated Plain Dealing 69-29 in one semifinal Thursday. Ringgold defeated Arcadia 53-39 Friday.
