The Bossier Bearkats defeated Evangel Christian 50-41 in the Battle of the Boot Classic Saturday at Woodlawn.
Kerel Dean led Bossier (16-11) with 17 points. Kam Thomas added nine and Jatravion Bunnery eight.
The Bearkats led 24-20 at the half. The Eagles got within 36-35 after three quarters.
Bossier limited Evangel to six points in the fourth.
The Bearkats host Loyola in their final home regular-season game Friday.
