The Minden Crimson Tide seek a spot in the non-select Division II quarterfinals Tuesday night.

Minden (15-8), the No. 14 seed, travels to Monroe to face No. 3 Carroll (25-8) in a second-round game at 7.

Doyline’s season came to an end Monday night. The No. 5 seed Panthers fell to No. 12 Hicks 53-49 in a non-select Division V second-round game at Doyline.

The Panthers finished 24-4.

Minden defeated No. 19 Leesville 65-54 in the first round last week. Five Crimson Tide players scored in double figures.

It was Minden’s first playoff victory since 2011.

Carroll received a first-round bye. The Bulldogs finished second to No. 1 seed Wossman in District 1-3A.

Carroll has a recent history of success in the playoffs.

The Bulldogs were runner-up in non-select Division II last season, falling to Bossier 42-33 in the championship game.

They reached the Class 3A quarterfinals in 2022 and semifinals in 2021.

Carroll won 11 of its last 13 games with both losses against Wossman by six and three points.
