With 4:42 left in the third, the Apaches got within 30-28 with a chance to tie. But the two-point conversion failed and Homer went on to win the District 1-1A game 38-28.

Landry Powell scored two rushing touchdowns. Chase Sentell scored one after catching a long pass from Easton Sanders.

Glenbrook’s first TD came on a 1-yard run.
