High school soccer: Minden teams open seasons with victories

The Minden boys and girls teams opened their seasons with victories Tuesday.

The Crimson Tide defeated Parkway 2-1 at Preston Crownover Stadium in Bossier City. The Lady Tiders shut out North Caddo 2-0 at the Minden Rec Center.

The boys and girls teams both host Haughton Thursday.

Boys team captains are Ethan Turner and Topher Wilson. Girls team captains are Bradi Lee l, Annabelle Toland and Madison Kirby.
