High school softball: Glenbrook, Minden, Doyline win

The Glenbrook Apaches, Minden Lady Tiders and Doyline Lady Panthers were victorious Tuesday.

Glenbrook defeated Calvin 9-6 at Calvin, Minden downed Weston 15-9 at Weston and Doyline swept a doubleheader against Jonesboro-Hodge 24-0 and 12-1.

At Calvin, nine Lady Apaches combined for 11 hits. Ellie Earnhardt went 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Anna Grace Vining went 2-for-3 with a double. Rebecca Mosley had a double and drew two walks. Chloe Gregg scored two runs. Colby Hollis had two RBI.

Mosley scattered seven hits for the win.

Glenbrook improved to 14-12.

At Weston, Kaydree Kemp went 3-for-4 with four RBI. Lindsay Ryan went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Kylie Ryan went 2-for-4 with a double.

Leigha Kennon-Gilbert and Annabelle Toland had two hits each. 

Gracie Parks pitched the first three innings and Lindsay Ryan the final four. Ryan struck out six and Parks three.

Minden improved to 14-9.

At Jonesboro-Hodge, Doyline’s Savannah Stanley went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI in the three-inning first game. Pitcher Sariyah Gill went 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Karmadie Bartlett went 2-for-2. Lanie Gates went 2-for-3 with a double. Gill pitched a no-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks.

Gates went 3-for-3 with two doubles in the second game. Karmadie Bartlett went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Arianna Crump had two RBI. Keily Sumlin and Gill had doubles.

Doyline (10-8) hosts Haynesville Wednesday at 3.

On Monday night, Lakeside fell to Family Community 9-4 in Shreveport.

Mackenzie McCoy went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.

Izzy Vise, Kerrigan Davis and Raleah Harris had doubles.

Lakeside (9-15) hosts Southwood Wednesday at 5.
