Minden picked up a non-district victory Thursday, defeating Calvin 13-3 at Minden.
Elsewhere, Glenbrook dropped a tough 4-2 decision to St. Mary’s in Natchitoches and Doyline fell to Quitman 12-2 at Quitman.
At Minden, pitcher Kylie Ryan continued her outstanding season. She went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in the six-inning game.
In the circle, she allowed six hits and one earned run with five strikeouts.
Charli Flournoy went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Jacey Adams went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Leigha K-Gilbert had two hits, including a double.
Kaylin Williams had three RBI.
Minden improved to 13-10.
At St. Mary’s, Gabi Brown and Colby Hollis had doubles for Glenbrook. Hollis had two RBI.
Rebecca Mosley gave up only five hits and one earned run.
Glenbrook dropped to 9-7. St. Mary’s improved to 11-7.
