Lakeside finished third in the boys division and fourth in the girls in the District 1-2A meet Wednesday at Lee Hedges Stadium in Shreveport.
Lakeside scored 95 points in the boys division. Green Oaks won with 163 and Loyola was second with 129.
Lakeside had 74 points in the girls division. Loyola won with 188. D’Arbonne Woods was second with 118 and North Caddo third with 78.
The top four individuals and relay teams in each event qualified for the Region I-2A meet next Wednesday at Mansfield.
BOYS
Tamarjah Ferrell and Caleb Barber won district titles.
Ferrell took the 200 meters in 23.74. He was .30 faster than runner-up Montavious Kelly of Green Oaks.
Ferrell also finished second in the triple jump with a 40-9. Green Oaks’ Cortaveous Dorsey won with a 42-6.
Barber won the discus with a toss of 122-7. His throw was 13 feet, 1 inch farther than that of runner-up Cavon Foster of Green Oaks.
Chad Davis and Willie Jenkins finished 2-3 in the javelin with throws of 147-7 and 121-6, respectively. D’Arbonne Woods’ Weston Jones won with a 147-9.
Kentravion Miller and Barber finished 2-3 in the shot put with tosses of 41-5 and 40-4, respectively. Green Oaks’ Richard Young won with a 42-2.
Landon Anderson was second in the high jump with a 5-6. Loyola’s Easton Baker won with a 5-10.
James Maxie finished third in the 110 and 300 hurdles. He finished just .01 behind runner-up Jomariyion Collins in the 110.
Jermemiah Allen and Collin Walker finished 3-4 in the long jump.
Jamarion Evans and Jordan Case also qualified for the regional with fourth-place finishes in the discus and 400, respectively.
GIRLS
Lexi Bradley had an outstanding meet.
She won the 3,200 in 14:26.0 and finished second in the 1,600 in 6:07.84 and third in the 800 in 2:45.18.
She also teamed with Bailey Mangrum, McKenzie Chase and Annie Cooper for a runner-up finish in the 4X800 relay in 11:24.05.
Bradley finished 23.16 seconds ahead of runner-up D’Arbonne Woods in the 3,200. She finished 6.70 seconds behind Loyola’s Mary Elberson in the 1,600.
Loyola’s Emily Anderson won the 800 in 2:28.11. Loyola took the 4X800 in 11:10.86.
Chase won the pole vault with a 7-6, 6 inches higher than her nearest competitors.
T’breyanna Williams was third in the triple jump with a 28-7. Loyola’s Saniyah Paglialunga-Simo won with a 29-1.5.
Akajah Castle was third in the shot put with a toss of 28-1. Loyola’s Amari Jackson won with a 29-7.
The foursome of Mangrum, Mallory Moseley, Naja White and Chase took third in the 4X400 relay in 4:57.86. D’Arbonne Woods won with a 4:30.88.
