Lakeside won the girls division in the Haynesville Invitational Friday at Lakeside.
Lakeside scored 154 points. Airline was second with 113, Haynesville third with 89.5 and North Webster fourth with 83.
Haynesville won the boys division with 151 points. Airline was second with 114, Gibsland-Coleman third with 54 and North Webster fourth with 53.
Girls
Lakeside’s Ryleigh Taylor continued her outstanding season. She won the 200 in 27.24 seconds and the long jump with a distance of 15 feet, 11.5 inches. She also finished second in the 100 in 12.94.
Airline’s Skyah Lewis finished second in the 200 in 27.64. Airline’s Jaiden Todd was second in the long jump with a 14-11.5. Homer’s Harmoniee Allen won the 100 in 12.86.
Lakeside’s other individual winners were Alexis McIntosh, Jerryne Cole and Angel Collins.
McIntosh won the 1,600 in 6:40.18. Her teammate Meridith Beckworth was second in 6:42.72.
Cole won the triple jump with a 31-11. Haynesville’s Yesenia Meadors was second with a 31-2.
Collins and teammate Paisley Ware finished 1-2 in the pole vault. Collins cleared 7-0 and Ware 6-0.
The Lakeside foursome of Annie Cooper, McIntosh, Beckworth and Alexis Laevano won the 4X800 relay in 12:04.68. Haynesville was second in 12:21.26.
North Webster’s Tomiyah Hawthorne was a double winner. She took the javelin with a 78-0 and the shot put with a 34-3.
Arcadia’s Jamiah Greer was second in the javelin with a 77-2. Plain Dealing’s Brianna Newton was second in the shot put with a 33-6.
North Webster’s Kipper Wooten won the high jump with a leap of 4-10. Gibsland-Coleman’s Jordan Allen was second with a 4-8.
North Webster won the 4X100 and 4X200 relays.
The foursome of Kylee Sanders, Xhailor McGlothan, Tatyana Lawson and Andre’a Washington took the 4X100 in 50.77. The same group won the 4X200 in 1:47.34.
Haynesville was second in the 4X109 in 52.12. Airline was second in the 4X200 in 1:51.19.
Lakeside’s Abrielle Parker captured second in the 400 in 1:07.49. Airline’s Ka’Mya Allen won in 1:02.73.
North Webster’s Khloe Clayton took second in the discus with a 74-5. Plain Dealing’s Newton won with an 89-2.
Lakeside’s third-place finishers in individual events were Melaysia Kurtz (100), McIntosh (800), Laevano (3,200), LaJayda Chipps (triple jump) and Nyla Braggs (shot put).
North Webster’s were Wooten (100 hurdles) and Angel Jackson (discus).
Boys
Lakeside’s Jordin Febos and Kentravion Miller won individual events.
Febos took the 1,600 in 5:26.40. Airline’s Kayden Shelton was second in 5:31.44.
Miller won the shot put with a 46-0.5. Haynesville’s Trevion Fielding was second with a 40-2.5.
North Webster’s Ja’Myrian Jackson captured the javelin with a throw of 144-0. Arcadia’s Kristofer Jackson was second with a 119-5.
North Webster’s Treylin Gilbert, Joshua Schleppenbach, Kazavion Evans and Javion Hawthorne posted runner-up finishes.
Gilbert ran a 56.82 in the 400. Haynesville’s Jaron Perkins won in 55.06.
Schleppenbach ran a 17.15 in the 110 hurdles. Haynesville’s Isaiah Washington won in 14.97.
Evans ran a 45.09 in the 300 hurdles. Washington won in 40.98.
Hawthorne had a throw of 119-9 in the discus. Homer’s Marquis Kingsby won with a 124-7.
Lakeside’s Michael Beckworth finished second in the 3,200 in 16:00.51. Haynesville’s Carl Smith won in 13:58.51.
Haynesville’s Washington, an LSU football signee, was a triple winner. He also won the triple jump with a 44-6.
