J.L. Jones Elementary School Celebrates Student Achievement in Literacy Program

Students at J.L. Jones Elementary School in Minden have been recognized for their outstanding achievements in literacy during the month of February. Miss Winkler, a dedicated teacher at the school, issued a challenge to her class: to collectively achieve 750 units on the Lexia literacy program.

With determination and hard work, the students rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations by meeting the goal set by Miss Winkler. Their dedication to improving their literacy skills has not gone unnoticed, and the staff and faculty at J.L. Jones Elementary School are incredibly proud of their growth and progress.

The Lexia literacy program is an interactive and personalized learning tool designed to support students in developing their reading and language skills. By engaging with the program, students have the opportunity to strengthen their comprehension, vocabulary, and phonics abilities, laying a strong foundation for future academic success.
