James E. Thompson 74, of Minden was born April 23, 1950, in Henderson, Tennessee and entered into rest August 7, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
James was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ellen Thompson.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Thompson, Richard Thompson, and Marcus Thompson; daughters, Sue Rowell, Florence Adkins, Tiffany Thompson, Renada Thompson, and Judy Chastain; sisters, Judy Jones and Carolyn Mladan; brother, Donnie Thompson, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial service Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with interment to follow with military rites at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden.
