Memorial services for John N. Barbo will be held Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Jim Gstohl officiating. The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. Monday at Rose-Neath.
John was born June 23, 1941 in Campti and entered into rest Nov. 1, 2017 in Minden. He was a retired deputy with Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Emily Barbo.
He is survived by his wife Mary Barbo of Minden, son James Simon of Sugarland, Texas, daughters, Miranda Romero of Arab, Alabama, Terrie Johnston of Dickinson, Texas, Tammy Anderson of Humble, Texas, sister Jo Alice Tyler of Golddonna, brothers H.P. Barbo of The Woodlands, Frank Perot of W. Monroe, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
