Funeral services for Josephine Savell will be held Monday, September 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 and visitation from 10:00 until service time at St Paul Catholic Church with Father Joe Kallookalam officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Josephine was born July 29, 1923, in Bamberg, Germany and entered into rest September 20, 2023, in Minden, Louisiana. She is survived by her son, Alan Savell (Patricia) of Minden; daughters, Eva Anita Frye, Shirley Shuler (Mike), Judy Jackson, Jenny Greene (J.D.), and Loli Johns (Jerry) all of Minden; grandchildren, Mark and Scott Vining, Ed and Daniel Shuler, Angie Jackson & C.J. Cheatham, Brandy Robinson and Charley Savell, Ashley Simpson and Luke Greene, Dusty Tucker and Destry Johns, and Darrell, Dawson, and Deanna, Johns; 28 great- grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Vining, Ed Shuler, Jordan Cheatham, Luke Greene, Dusty Tucker, and Charley Savell. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Vining, Daniel Shuler, Brian Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Chris Cheatham, Destry Johns, and Jeremy Simpson.
