Funeral services celebrating the life of Juanita Carpenter will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Dee Anders officiating, assisted by Rev. Jane Brown Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Juanita loved working for her church, sewing, crocheting, and quilting for family and friends. Juanita was born March 28, 1935, in Winnsboro, Louisiana and entered into rest April 2, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eugene Carpenter, her son Leslie Eugene Carpenter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Cummins, granddaughter, Kimberly Renee Washington, great granddaughter, Bryanna Nicole, great grandson, Noah Matthew Caswell, sister, Doris Benson, and brother, Marion Cummins.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Karl) Washington of Minden, Shirley (Kenneth) Keen of Minden, Janet (Edward) Caswell of Minden, and Janice (Ronnie) Hood of Atlanta, Texas. Grandchildren, Bill (Tammy) Washington, Angela Finley, Misty Cox, Chris Caswell (Sarah), Kim Baronett (Doug), Stacy Hood (Terry), Jonathan Hood, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Bill Washington, Chris Caswell, Jonathan Hood, Guy Schoolfield, Doug Baronett, Allen Gaston, and Charlie Gaston.

Honorary pallbearer will be Billy Gaston, Jr., Dakota Mosley, and Micah Hood.
