After 15 years of dedicated service to the residents of Webster Parish, Kevin McLain has retired as chief civil deputy of the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office.
A retirement reception was held Friday at the sheriff’s office headquarters, where friends and coworkers gathered to celebrate McLain’s career and wish him well in retirement.
“I’ve never worked with a greater group of people. All of you have made my job easier over these years, and I want to sincerely thank all of you,” McLain said during the event.
Sheriff Jason Parker presented McLain with a retirement appreciation plaque, commending his years of service. “I always knew we could count on Kevin to get the job done,” Parker said. “We certainly wish him well, and we hope he won’t be a stranger. Come back and see us anytime.”
McLain’s retirement marks the end of a distinguished career, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism in service to Webster Parish.
