Krewe Of Artemis 2021 Gun Winner

by Minden Press-Herald

Timothy Bridges of Homer, Louisiana, is the proud new owner of a Savage Arms 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle with camouflage stock and 3×9 Weaver scope, gun case, and sling.  Each year the Mardi Gras Krewe of Artemis-Springhill holds a fundraiser with the winner being announced at the Lumberjack Festival.  Pictured,  on the left, presenting the rifle to Mr. Bridges is Artemis member, Mike Reeves, Chairman of the Gun Drawing.

The Krewe of Artemis is a 501-C3 Non-Profit Organization formed in 2002.  Their mission is to gather people with common interest together on a social level; to celebrate the festival season; to educate the public on Mardi Gras’ rich history and cultural history;  to promote Springhill and the area as to name recognition and commerce; and to assist those in need around them with social outreach programs.

Artemis is open to the public, eighteen (18) years of age or above with yearly dues of $50.00 or, if you are thirty (30) years old or younger the cost is $30.00.

On January 15, 2022, the krewe will host a Grand “OUT OF THIS WORLD” Bal in the Springhill Civic Center.  The public is invited.  You do not need a personal invitation to attend.  Paid reservations are required. For any additional information about ARTEMIS, you may call 318-847-4270.
