KTBS 3 Community Caravan visits Acadiana Seafood

by Amber McDown

Rick Rowe and the KTBS 3 Community Caravan visited Acadiana Seafood on June 6 for lunch, bringing the community together at the newly opened seafood restaurant located at 12715 US-79 between Minden and Dixie.

The event saw several members of the Webster Parish Tourism board in attendance, including Executive Director Serena Gray. When Rowe inquired about the future plans for Minden, Gray said, “We’re just continuing to grow the vision that we have based on being the Friendliest City in the South, welcoming everyone.”

Rowe praised the local community, stating, “You will not find better people in the Ark-La-Tex than right here.”

The KTBS 3 Community Caravan, which occurs monthly, travels to various locations around the region to profile different communities. On Thursdays, Rowe has lunch at a local restaurant and invites the public to meet the KTBS team. He solicits opinions from residents about what they love about their town, airing selected comments during the evening newscasts. To view today’s episode, click HERE.
