LDWF Secretary Madison Sheahan announces superintendent of Wildlife and Fisheries law enforcement

BATON ROUGE, La – Today, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Secretary Madison Sheahan held an Enforcement Division statewide meeting at LDWF Headquarters in Baton Rouge where she announced Stephen Clark, as the Superintendent of Wildlife and Fisheries Law Enforcement.

“I want to congratulate the new Superintendent of Wildlife and Fisheries Law Enforcement, Stephen Clark. I have full confidence in his leadership, and I am looking forward to the work he will accomplish at LDWF alongside Secretary Sheahan,” said Governor Jeff Landry.

“I want to thank Governor Jeff Landry for allowing me to put one of my most trusted advisors as the leader of the Enforcement Division. Superintendent Stephen Clark’s extensive career and expertise in conservation law has given him the skills and knowledge to lead our 234 agents as they serve the sportsmen of Louisiana,” said LDWF Secretary Madison Sheahan.

As Superintendent of Wildlife and Fisheries Law Enforcement, Clark will be responsible for the LDWF Law Enforcement Division comprised of enforcement agents and employees. He will serve as the statewide chief administrator and a member of the Department’s executive team directing all the enforcement programs associated with operational and technical functions of the Department’s mission and cooperative state/federal natural resource enforcement.
