Lagniappe Montessori Gives Back

by Minden Press-Herald

Lagniappe Montessori 4-H sponsored a school-wide food drive for our local UCAP as part of a parish-wide food drive by all 4-H clubs. In two weeks, more than 600 items were collected. These items included canned goods, baby food and formula, soups, rice, beans. The club thanked the Lagniappe families for supporting the community and challenged all who can to give back to their community in some way during this holiday season. This year’s 4-H officers at Lagniappe Montessori are president Aaron Buffington, vice-president Luke Butcher, secretary Shelby Glenn, reporter Cameron Dauzat, treasurer Freddy Danzy, community service chair Jonathan Bryant, and photographer Rosalyn Dobbins. Pictured are the 4-H club members who helped organize, pack and load the donations.
