Lakeside FBLA Students Shine, Qualify for Nationals

Lakeside Junior/Senior High School is celebrating a significant achievement as five of its Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students have qualified for the national stage. Among them, two students have secured first-place finishes in their respective categories, marking an exceptional accomplishment for the school.

Cameron Murray, a standout member of Lakeside’s FBLA chapter, showcased his talent and dedication by clinching first place in not just one but two categories. Additionally, Edgar Silva demonstrated his prowess by securing a first-place finish, further highlighting the caliber of Lakeside’s FBLA program.

The success doesn’t stop there. Ethan Patterson, Kamryn Goodson, and Josh Hasty also made their mark by securing positions in the top four of their respective categories, contributing to Lakeside’s strong showing at the competition.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of mentorship and guidance, Lakeside extends its gratitude to Mrs. Ward for her unwavering support and dedication in leading the FBLA club. Mrs. Ward’s commitment to nurturing the talents and potential of Lakeside’s students has undoubtedly played a significant role in their success.

In addition to the top performers, Lakeside is proud to recognize five more students who placed within the top 10, further solidifying the school’s reputation for excellence in FBLA competitions.

The achievement of these Lakeside students is a testament to their hard work, determination, and the supportive environment fostered by the school. As they prepare to represent Lakeside at the national level, the entire school community rallies behind them, cheering them on to even greater success.
