Lakeside Warriors win district matchup with Indians

SIBLEY – It was a nice day at the ball park for the Lakeside Warriors who improved their district record to 2-0 with their second win this week against the North Caddo Indians.

Lakeside defeated North Caddo 18-0 in a game where that likely left North Caddo pitchers with whiplash this morning. The Warriors finished the game with 20 hits.

Tanner Page went 3-4 with a single, double and triple to go with three RBIs, Josh Prince went 3-4 with two singles and a triple to go with one RBI, Colton Carter finished 3-4 with a double, two singles and three RBIs and Jayke Stewart went 3-4 with three singles and two RBIs.

Page got the start and the win on the mound for Lakeside, going three innings, striking out five and allowing five hits with no earned runs. Carter tossed the final two frames and struck out five, allowing no runs or hits.

Lakeside hits the road tonight for a 6 p.m. contest with the Mangham Dragons.
