Goebel
Funeral services for Lilla M. Goebel were at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. Leland Crawford and the Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Interment followed at Gilgal Cemetery in Minden. The family received friends from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at the church.
Lilla was born Oct. 31, 1919 in Minden and entered into rest Feb. 5, 2016 in Minden. She was a member of First Baptist Church and served for many years as a Pink Lady at Minden Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband L.L. Goebel, daughter Sandra Mae Goebel, sister Nancy Harris Gryder Sanders, stepson Carl Leo Goebel and granddaughter Kathy Goebel McDaniels.
She is survived by daughters Sue Ranger and husband Phil of Minden, Leah McKillips and husband Robert of Minden, Lavonne Anderson of Athens, brother James Frank Harris, Jr. of Minden, grandchildren Philip and Richard Ranger, Stephen and Eric Picou, Kristy McKillips, Kevin and Kyle Anderson, Greg Goebel, and Carrie Goebel Davis, 21 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, niece Lisa Ellen Anderson, and nephew Jeff Harris.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff and nurses at Town and Country Rehab, 2nd floor Minden Medical Center, Dr. Nida and Dr. Chanler for all the love that was shown to our mother by each of you.
