The Minden Lions Club will be serving up charbroiled chicken dinners this Saturday, September 21. The biannual Chicken Charbroil has been a major fundraiser for the Lions since 1974. They will be set up in their usual place, in the Walmart parking lot near Homer Road. Service starts at 9 AM, and they keep selling dinners for $10 each until they run out. “Better come early,” said Tracy Campbell, Lions Club member.
