Minden Lions Club members were hard at work Saturday, September 26, grilling, preparing, and boxing hundreds of chicken dinners during the club’s annual Fall Chicken Charbroil at the Minden Walmart parking lot.
The popular fundraiser once again drew a steady crowd, with Lions working assembly-line style to keep dinners moving from the grills to customers. Each $10 plate included a half chicken, chips, dessert, and a roll.
Proceeds from the charbroil support the Minden Lions Club’s local service projects and community initiatives.
