LSU AgCenter hires K’Lanie Gordon as assistant 4-H agent for Webster Parish

The LSU AgCenter has appointed K’Lanie Gordon as the new assistant 4-H agent for Webster Parish. A native of Webster Parish, Gordon brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having been involved in the 4-H program her entire life. She, along with her husband and three children, resides in Minden. Gordon is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

As an assistant agent, Gordon will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including planning, developing, teaching, evaluating, and reporting on youth educational programs. She will also focus on delivering youth development programs that emphasize leadership, community service, and workforce development. Additionally, Gordon will coordinate youth and volunteer involvement in 4-H programs and events, as well as build and lead a strong volunteer base.

Expressing her enthusiasm for her new role, Gordon stated, “I am very excited to begin my career with the LSU AgCenter and look forward to learning the ins and outs of the position.” She added, “I am excited to be part of the Webster Parish 4-H family and am grateful for this opportunity.”
