Minden police responded early October 24 to a Center Street residence after a man allegedly forced his way inside while looking for his son, according to police reports.
Officers were called to the 800 block of Center Street around 5 AM for a reported disturbance. When they arrived, residents told police that a man, later identified as Eric Royce, 45, came to the door demanding to speak with his son. When the door was opened, Royce reportedly pushed his way into the home before being made to step outside.
Police said the incident followed another disturbance involving Royce the previous night at the same address. Officers had advised him at that time not to return to the address..
Royce was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
