A Minden man already incarcerated faces additional offenses for alleged drug distribution.
Webster Parish authorities booked Tony Ray Wooldridge, 45, of the 400 block of Goodwill Street, on Wednesday, April 27, on warrants for two counts of distribution of Schedule II CDS (methamphetamine).

Maj. Dustin Reynolds says Minden Police arrested him in February on a warrant for felony theft of goods, possession of Schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The February offenses stem from a reported theft from Walmart. Two other suspects were arrested, but Wooldridge was not as he fled on foot, Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said at the time of his arrest. Later, police conducted a traffic stop on Bayou Avenue after observing Wooldridge and another suspect inside a vehicle. At that time, Wooldridge was known to have an active warrant, police said.

Wooldridge was taken into custody when police discovered approximately three grams of suspected methamphetamine during the traffic stop.

Wooldridge remains incarcerated at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
