No shots fired at Dixie Inn residence

Three Minden residents were arrested Thursday night after reportedly entering a Dixie Inn dwelling without permission. Witnesses said one of the intruders pulled a gun, according to the arrest affidavit.

Wayne Moore, 54, Virgie Brim, 37, and Kriste Harris, 37, reportedly entered the residence and got into an altercation with those inside. When the altercation escalated, Moore retrieved a small black compact handgun from his vehicle and pointed it at the victims. No shots were fired in the incident.

After receiving victim and witness accounts at the scene, officers later arrested Harris and Brim at a Bayou Acres apartment in Minden and Moore on Barb Circle. Moore was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, and all three suspects were charged with unauthorized entry into a dwelling.

Upon questioning, the suspects claimed that the altercation began in Bossier. They also denied entry into the residence.

The suspects were booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center without incident.
