Funeral services for Marth a Wood will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Martha was born November 8, 1932 in Heflin, Louisiana and entered into rest May 29, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana. She was a retired supervisor for South Central Bell Telephone Company and also Fibrebond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex J. Wood.
She is survived by her son Marty Wood and wife Lana of Heflin; daughter, Cindy Ruth Wood of Heflin; sister, Jo Ann Swearinger of North Carolina, grandsons, Lance Justin Wood and wife Jennifer and Preston Cade Wood and wife Abbie and great-grandchildren, Lexi Kaye, Ella Claire, and Sage Blaire.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mizell, Ronnie Farrer, Lance Wood and Preston Wood.
