Pamela Ann Woodbridge Taylor was born in Oxford, England on October 28, 1944. She entered eternal peace on May 28, 2018. A devoted mother and homemaker. Pam was well traveled having grown up in England and Kenya, and visiting many other countries. Moving to the U.S. at age 21 and marrying her husband, Jim, she has been a loving wife, mother, Nanny, and so much more. She will be dearly missed by everyone.
Pam enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and baking with the grandkids, many years of tennis, and most recently was an avid square dancer-rarely missing a dancing event. Pam volunteered many hours to the LSUHSC physician training program as a mock patient. She also attended the British Wives Club in Shreveport, LA monthly. Pam was a member of Lakeview Methodist Church in Minden.
Pam was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Jim Taylor. Pam is survived by her daughter Julie Taylor Coco and her husband Paul Coco of Raleigh, North Carolina; son Paul Taylor and his wife Lisa Taylor and their children Pierson and Lacey Taylor of Marietta, Georgia; daughter Vickie Taylor Blakewood and her husband Brian Blakewood and their children Kristen, Ashlyn, and Shelby Blakewood of Pineville, Louisiana.
Over the past year, Pam has resided at Brookdale Senior Living in Alexandria, LA and has been under the care of Aime Hospice. Her daughter, Vickie has been by her side throughout this journey. The family would like to express their greatest gratitude towards all who have provided love and care to her, and helped to make her final days filled with peace, comfort, and love.
A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Pamela A. Taylor will be on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Lakeview Methodist Church in Minden, Louisiana.
