Marvin L. ‘Lee’ Hogg

marvin-hogg736Funeral services for Marvin L. “Lee” Hogg will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Marvin (Lee) was born Feb. 27, 1937 in Athens and entered into rest Oct. 5, 2016 in Bossier City. He served his country in the United States Navy. Marvin and Dorthey celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 1, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his four sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife Dorthey Booth Hogg of Doyline, sons Tony Hogg and wife Gwenetta and Bruce Hogg and wife Tina of Houston, Texas, daughter Sonya Machen and husband Wess of Doyline, grandchildren Kelsee Packman and husband Kyle, Lauren Hogg, Natalie Coe and husband Jared, Eric Hogg and wife Michelle, Courtney Ferguson and husband Josh, Haley Machen and two great-grandchildren.
