collage-anchor001Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Brown, 66, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the LIFECHURCH.LA in Springhill with Pastor Richie Thornton, the Rev. Chris Witt, the Rev. Chris Welch and the Rev. Marcus Brown officiating. Interment will at the Springhill Cemetery in Springhill under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Springhill.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, from 5 until 7 p.m. at LIFECHURCH.LA in Springhill.

Mrs. Brown was born on Dec. 23, 1949 to Odis D. and Lillie Maxine Pickett Brown in Plain Dealing and passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 in Shreveport. She was a lifelong resident of this area, was a perfect pastor’s wife supporting her husband at Trinity Worship Center for 34 years with love and devotion for her Lord Jesus Christ and music was her passion. She was employed with Springhill Bank & Trust/Regions Bank and Trust for 27 years and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, the Rev. Tommy Brown; her children, Tracy Taylor and husband, Richard of Shreveport; Marcy Thomas of Cullen; the Rev. Marcus Brown and wife, Brook of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Cassie Thomas, Jessie Thomas, Ashlyn Brown, Austin Brown and Ainsley Brown; two brothers, James Brown and wife, Jeanne of Azle, Texas and Jerry Brown and wife, Myla of Texarkana, Arkansas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Martha Gail Brown.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Brown, Lyn Johnson, Chris Barrera, Blake Burns, Tim Welch and Jared Brown.
