Mayor and Main Street in Seattle for Main Street Convention

Mayor Terry Gardner, Becky White (Main Street Director), Thomas Adams (Main Street Chairman) and Will Gerding (City of Minden – Making It Work) have been in Seattle Washington this week for a main street convention. The purpose for this trip was to maintain the accreditation for the state of Louisiana as a main street Throughout the convention Mayor Gardner and the group have gained knowledge to improve Minden mainstreet through available grants, tax credits, and economic development programs to help improve and enhance downtown and business viability.
