The Minden Civitans held their annual installation banquet recently at the Exacta Inn. Presiding over the banquet was President-elect Jeff Clemons. Special guest attending was Janis Bryan, past governor for the Magnolia district.
Judy Grubbs was awarded the 2014-2015 Civitan of the Year award.
After a delightful meal, Neal Stapleton was prestented a plaque for his service as president of the Minden Civitans. Janis Bryan then presented Judy Grubbs with the “Civitan of the Year” award. In closing, Bryan swore in the new officers for the 2015-2016 year.
Jeff Clemons will serve as president, Steve Bryan as president-elect, Roger Grubbs as secretary, Ed LaBruyere as treasurer, Bill Barnett as chaplin and Bill Langley as sergeant-at-arms.
The Minden Civitans welcome any new members with weekly meetings held every Tuesday at noon at the Exact Inn.
