A Minden man was arrested on domestic abuse charges after an incident on March 26. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Pennsylvania in reference to an active disturbance. They made contact with Zarvia Moore, 35, and Cherrelle Moore.
Cherrelle Moore stated that Zarvia ripped her shirt off as soon as she opened the door when someone knocked. Minor lacerations were observed across the upper portion of her chest. Her 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old niece were in the adjacent living room when the events happened.
Zarvia was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Minden Police Department for booking. He was charged with domestic abuse with child endangerment.
