A Minden man has been accused of stealing mail from mailboxes.

Gregory Jerome Moore, 61, of the 200 block of Washington Street, was arrested Sunday, Jan. 17, for three counts of theft.
Webster Parish sheriff’s deputies say they were advised Moore had stolen mail from several residents’ mailboxes in the Penal Farm Road area. Deputy John Byrd made contact with several of the victims who verified their mail had been stolen and were able to identify it, according to the police report.
The Minden Police Department also has pending charges against Moore, reports indicate.
Moore was placed under arrest at the Minden Police Department on the above charges and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
